What Many Balls stores, why, and how to get it removed. Last updated 31 October 2026.
What we store
If you're a streamer who logs in with Twitch
- Your Twitch user id, login and display name, so your wall and host links are always the same and the extension can find your channel.
- A session cookie (
plinko_session) so you stay logged in for up to 90 days. It holds only your Twitch id, login, display name and an expiry, signed so it can't be altered. - Each show you run: when it started and ended, the mode, how many played, how many won, and the Bits spent in it.
- Your wall settings (drops, Banished slots, products on or off, volume) are kept in your own browser, not on our server.
- If you buy Pro: that your channel has Pro, when you bought it, and Paddle's transaction reference. Paddle sells Pro and handles the payment, your billing details and receipts; we never see your card.
- Your Pro branding (show name, theme, logo, and any sponsor's name, logo and link), so your wall can show it.
- Sponsor campaigns you run: the sponsor's name, when it started and ended, and per-show totals (players, Twitch viewer counts sampled from Twitch's public figures, replay views and a count of sponsor link clicks).
If you play in a streamer's chat or through the extension
- Your Twitch login and display name as they appear in chat or as Twitch shares them with the extension when you press “Share my name”.
- Your result in each show you join on that channel: drops survived, whether you won, shield saves. This is what the weekly leaderboard and your career stats are made of.
- The message you type after
!join. It is shown on stream only if the streamer presses Feature, and it is saved with the replays of the drops you played in (below). - Looks you buy for your ball (skins and trails), kept against your Twitch id on that channel so they come back next show.
- If you buy something with Bits through the extension: the transaction id Twitch issues, the product, the amount, your Twitch id and name, the channel and the show. We need this to deliver what you bought, refuse replays and account for revenue.
Replays
After each drop we save a replay of it: the balls' names, colours and looks, their join messages, and where each ball landed. Anyone with a replay's link can watch it, and streamers and players can share those links. Replays are deleted after three months.
Server logs and error reports
Our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, path) for a short time for security and debugging. If one of our pages hits an error, it sends us the error message, the page and your browser type so we can fix it, with no name attached. We don't use either for anything else.
What we don't do
- We never see your Twitch password, your email, or your payment details. Twitch handles all Bits purchases, and Paddle handles Pro purchases.
- We don't sell or share personal data with anyone. No advertising networks, no tracking pixels, no analytics scripts.
- The game reads a channel's public chat; it never posts to chat.
- There are no prizes with cash value, nothing you earn can be traded or cashed out, and there are no random paid boxes.
Who can see what
- Viewers on a channel see player names on the wall and the weekly leaderboard (names and points) for that channel.
- The streamer sees, on their dashboard, their own shows, the leaderboard for their channel and which products were bought with how many Bits in total. They don't see who bought what.
- A sponsor sees the totals on their report page (shows, players, viewer counts, replay views and link clicks), with no names.
- We (the people running Many Balls) can see the records above across all channels, to run the service and to account for revenue.
How long we keep it
Show results and leaderboard records are kept while the service runs so career stats mean something. Purchase records are kept for as long as our accounting needs them. Replays are deleted after three months. Logged-in sessions expire after 90 days. You can ask for your records to be deleted at any time: see below.
Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask us what we hold about your Twitch account, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email g.g@g.com from an address you can prove is yours, or include your Twitch login. We answer within 30 days.
Many Balls is run from the United Kingdom, so UK GDPR applies. Our lawful basis for storing these records is our legitimate interest in running the game, keeping a leaderboard that viewers choose to join, and accounting for Bits purchases that you ask us to deliver. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Many Balls is for people aged 13 and over, in line with Twitch's own rules.
Twitch
Twitch's own handling of your account, Bits and payments is covered by Twitch's privacy notice, not ours. Pro payments are covered by Paddle's privacy notice. Many Balls is not affiliated with Twitch or Paddle.
